Understanding the Finance dashboard
What it's for
The Finance dashboard is your center's money at a glance — how much you've billed, how much you've collected, what's still outstanding, and how this month compares to the last. It's the first thing to check when you open Finance.
Where to find it
Finance (under Administration), on the Overview tab.
How the pieces fit together
Finance is organized into tabs across the top:
- Overview — revenue stat cards and a 6-month summary.
- Billing — recurring billing plans (enrollments that invoice automatically).
- Invoices — one-off invoices you create and send.
- Payments — every payment you've recorded.
- Credits & Refunds — credits, refunds and deposits.
- Programs & Fees — the programs, fees, discounts and subsidies you bill from.
- Expenses — money going out of the center.
- Staff Payroll — pay runs for your team.
- Settings — tax rates, invoice terms and numbering.
Reading the Overview
- The stat cards show Total Revenue, Collected, Outstanding and
Collection Rate for the current month.
- The Monthly Revenue Summary table breaks down billed, collected, outstanding and
collection rate over the last six months.
- Recent Payments and Overdue Invoices give you a quick to-do list.
Tips & limits
- A new center shows zeros until you create your first invoice and record a payment.
- Collection Rate is collected ÷ billed — the higher, the better.
- Set your tax rate and invoice terms under the Finance Settings tab before
you send your first invoice.
