Understanding Reports
What it's for
Reports turns your day-to-day data into a clear picture of your center — who's attending, how staffing lines up, how enrollment is tracking and how money is coming in. Two live dashboards give you the pulse of today, and a set of detailed reports let you dig into a date range.
Where to find it
Reports (under Administration).
How it's organized
A sidebar on the left lists everything, grouped into three areas.
Dashboards — live overviews:
- Operations — today's attendance rate, children checked in, staff on duty, ratio
compliance and a per-classroom status table.
- Financial — monthly revenue, collection rate, outstanding balance, overdue
payments, and revenue/payment charts.
Attendance & Staff — detailed reports:
- Daily Attendance — the check-in/out log by classroom.
- Attendance Summary — attendance over a period.
- Staff Hours — hours worked by staff.
- Staff-to-Child Ratios — ratio compliance across classrooms.
Enrollment & Finance — detailed reports:
- Enrollment Summary — enrollment numbers and trends.
- Revenue Summary — revenue over a period.
- Outstanding Balances — who owes what.
- Payment History — a log of payments received.
Tips & limits
- The dashboards show *today* and this month at a glance; the reports let you
pick a date range and export the data.
- Use Collapse sidebar to give the report more room.
- Figures come straight from your attendance, finance and enrollment data — the more
you record, the richer your reports.
