How to create a report template
What it's for
A report template defines the layout and content of your progress reports — what sections and information each report includes (skill-wise progress, attendance summary, instructor comments, and so on). Pick a template when you generate reports, and every report follows it, so your reports look consistent. Your academy comes with ready-made System templates, and you can create your own.
Where to find it
Go to Learning → Report Templates.
Step-by-step
- Go to Learning → Report Templates.
- Click Create Custom Template (or open an existing custom template to edit it).
- Give the template a name and choose the sections each report should include — for example skill-wise progress, attendance summary, instructor comments, goals for next term.
- Save. The template is now available when you generate progress reports.
Tips & limits
- System templates (like Standard Progress Report, Quick Progress Update, Special Achievement) are provided ready to use — you can generate reports with them straight away, or build your own.
- Create your custom template before generating reports — you choose a template when producing a report (see *How to generate and send progress reports*).
- Editing a template changes future reports; reports you've already generated aren't changed.
