How to create a session pack
What it's for
A session pack lets families buy a fixed number of sessions upfront for one or more programs — for example, a 10-session pack. It's the most common prepaid package type. You set how many sessions, the price, how it's paid, and how long it stays valid.
Where to find it
From the left sidebar, open Catalog → Packages & Plans, then click Create Package.
Step-by-step
- Go to Catalog → Packages & Plans and click Create Package (top right). A guided 7-step wizard opens.
- Type & Setup — choose Session Pack, then how to start (from scratch, from a template like "10-Session Pack", or by duplicating an existing package).
- Programs — pick a Fixed Bundle (you choose the exact programs) or Flexible Choice (the family picks from a pool), then add the programs the pack covers.
- Details — set the Package Name (required) and optional descriptions.
- Pricing — set the number of sessions, the price, and the payment method (see below).
- Duration & Policies — set the validity period (how long the pack is usable after purchase) and any enrollment limits.
- Marketing — optional details for public pages.
- Review — set the status and publish.
- Move through with Next / Previous.
- On Review, choose Active (Live), Coming Soon, or Save as Draft, then click Publish Package.
Choosing a payment method
On the Pricing step you choose how families pay for the pack:
- Pay in Full — the whole amount is charged at purchase.
- Installments — the amount is split into scheduled payments.
- Recurring — the pack re-bills on a repeating schedule (more common for memberships).
The method you pick shows in the Packages list so staff can see it at a glance.
Tips & limits
- Templates like 10-Session Pack or 20-Session Pack pre-fill common settings — a fast starting point you can then customize.
- Validity period controls how long the sessions remain usable after purchase — set it so unused sessions don't linger indefinitely.
- A Flexible Choice pack (family picks the programs) shows a price of "Varies" in the list.
- Use Save as Draft to keep working without making the pack visible to customers.
- Prices are shown in your academy's currency (set in Settings → Academy Info).
