How to create a private program

What it's for

A private program is a one-on-one offering — a single student per session, such as private music lessons or personal coaching. You set it up through the Add Program wizard, choosing Private as the class type.

Where to find it

From the left sidebar, open Catalog → Programs, then click Add Program.

Step-by-step

1. Go to Catalog → Programs and click Add Program (top right).
2. On Step 1 (Choose Starting Point), choose Start from Scratch, then select Private (1-on-1 sessions) as the Class Type.

1. Move through the guided 6-step wizard (Location → Basic Info → Pricing → Schedule → Review):

1. On the Pricing step, set the Payment Policy and the per-session price. Because a private program is one-on-one, capacity is fixed at a single student.

1. Finish on Review and publish.

Tips & limits

• Private means 1-on-1 — one student per session. For 2–3 students, use Create a semi-private program; for larger classes, use Create a group program.
• You can add multiple duration options (e.g. 30-min and 60-min at different prices) on the Pricing step.
• The Payment Policy (Pre-Paid or Post-Paid) works the same as other programs — see *Understanding your catalog and pricing*.
• Prices are shown in your academy's currency (set in Settings → Academy Info).
