How to customize your academy branding
What it's for
Branding lets you make Skooly look like your own academy. You can upload your logo and favicon, pick your brand colors and font, and set a welcome message that appears on your sign-in page. A live preview on the right shows how your choices will look before you save.
Where to find it
From the left sidebar, open Settings → Branding.
Step-by-step
- Go to Settings → Branding.
- Under Logo & Favicon:
- Click Upload beside the logo box to add your academy logo (PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP, up to 2 MB). Use Remove to clear it.
- Click Upload beside the favicon box to add the small icon shown in browser tabs (PNG, ICO or SVG, up to 512 KB).
- Under Color Scheme:
- Set your Primary Color — used for buttons, highlights and the sidebar. Click the swatch to use the color picker, or type a hex code (for example,
#0072E5). - Set your Accent Color the same way, for secondary highlights and badges.
- The Preview strip below shows sample buttons and badges in your chosen colors.

- Under Font, choose a typeface from the dropdown (Inter, Plus Jakarta Sans, Poppins, Nunito or Roboto). A sample line updates to show the font.
- Under Welcome Message, type a short message (up to 200 characters) to show on your sign-in page.
- Watch the Preview panel on the right to confirm how the portal header, dashboard and login page will look.
- Click Save Changes at the top of the page.
Tips & limits
- The live preview on the right only appears on wider screens; on smaller screens, save and reload to see your changes applied.
- Use Discard Changes to undo edits since your last save, or Reset to defaults to return to Skooly's standard colors, font and empty welcome message.
- File limits: logo up to 2 MB, favicon up to 512 KB. If a file is too large or isn't an image, you'll see an error and it won't upload.
- Colors must be valid 6-digit hex codes (e.g.
#1A2B3C). If you type an incomplete code, it snaps back to the last valid color when you click away. - After saving new images, it can take a short while for the updated logo/favicon to appear everywhere as the change propagates.
