How to create a class or program
What it's for
Programs are what you offer to students — your classes, courses, lessons, workshops or camps. Each program holds its name, type, location, pricing and schedule. Once created, you can enroll students, take attendance and bill against it. This is where your academy's catalog comes to life.
Where to find it
From the left sidebar, open Catalog → Programs. You'll see a table of all your programs with search, filters and pagination.
Step-by-step
- Go to Catalog → Programs.
- Click Add Program (top right). A guided 6-step wizard opens, walking you through each stage:
- Choose Starting Point — pick how you want to create the program (start from scratch or duplicate an existing one), and choose the Class Type (Group, Private or Semi-Private).
- Location — select which of your locations will offer this program.
- Basic Info — enter the Program Name (required), an optional short description and full description, and choose the age groups it's for.
- Pricing — set up how the program is priced (for example, per session or a fixed fee).
- Schedule — configure when the program runs and its availability.
- Review — check everything, then publish the program.
- Move through the wizard with the Next button, and use Back to revisit an earlier step.
- On the Review step, confirm the details and save/publish your program.
Your new program then appears in the Programs table.
Managing an existing program
- Search and filter: Use the search box to find a program by name. Click Filters to narrow by Status, Class Type, Pricing Policy or Location.
- View details: Click any row to open its detail view.
- Row actions: Click the ⋮ menu at the end of a row to View details, Edit, Duplicate, Activate/Deactivate, Archive or Delete.
- Import / Export: Use the More menu (top right) to import programs from a file or export your list.
Tips & limits
- Program Name is required; most other fields have sensible defaults or are optional, so you can publish quickly and refine later.
- A program's price shows in your academy's currency (set in Settings → Academy Info). You don't choose a currency per program.
- Deleting a program is permanent and also removes its classes, enrollments, attendance logs and waitlist entries. If you just want to stop offering it, use Deactivate or Archive instead. Deletion asks you to type a confirmation first.
- Programs can be offered at multiple locations — the table shows a location count for each.
